This certified TEXAEDU course provides comprehensive training on FGAS regulations and the safe handling of low‑GWP refrigerants, ensuring full compliance with current environmental legislation. Candidates will receive two certifications: the FGAS (EC842-2006 F-GAS Specialist) qualification and a Professional Achievement Certificate for low‑GWP refrigerants.
COURSE STRUCTURE
STEP 1: ONLINE THEORY
Online learning materials will be provided for candidates to complete at their own pace and convenience. This module covers the principles of FGas
regulations, the environmental impact of high‑GWP refrigerants, and the
transition toward low‑GWP alternatives. Learners study refrigerant classifications, global warming potential values, and the legal responsibilities involved in handling, recovering, and storing refrigerants safely. The content also includes system operation fundamentals, leak detection methods, environmental protection measures, and best‑practice procedures to ensure compliance with current legislation and industry standards.
COURSE STRUCTURE
STEP 2: PRACTICAL ASSESSMENT
The practical assessment checks the learner’s ability to safely recover, evacuate, and charge refrigerants in line with FGas rules. Candidates must correctly use recovery and measuring equipment, perform leak checks, and complete the required documentation to show competence with both standard and low‑GWP refrigerants.
