COURSE STRUCTURE
THEORY
The theory for the AOM 230 ADAS course introduces learners to how modern Advanced Driver Assistance Systems operate and support vehicle safety. It explains the roles of sensors, cameras, and radar, and how these components work together to enable functions like lane‑keeping and collision avoidance. This foundation helps learners understand system behaviour and prepares them for diagnostics and calibration in practical sessions.
PRACTICAL ASSESSMENT
The practical session of the AOM 230 ADAS course gives learners hands‑on
experience with ADAS components, focusing on identifying sensors, performing system checks, and carrying out essential calibration tasks. Using diagnostic tools, students practice reading fault codes and verifying that cameras and radar units are aligned and functioning correctly.
