The AOM 230 ADAS course introduces learners to the principles and operation of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems used in modern vehicles. The session covers key components such as sensors, cameras, and radar units, along with their role in enhancing driving safety and vehicle automation.

COURSE STRUCTURE
THEORY

The theory for the AOM 230 ADAS course introduces learners to how modern Advanced Driver Assistance Systems operate and support vehicle safety. It explains the roles of sensors, cameras, and radar, and how these components work together to enable functions like lane‑keeping and collision avoidance. This foundation helps learners understand system behaviour and prepares them for diagnostics and calibration in practical sessions.

COURSE STRUCTURE
PRACTICAL ASSESSMENT

The practical session of the AOM 230 ADAS course gives learners hands‑on
experience with ADAS components, focusing on identifying sensors, performing basic system checks, and carrying out essential calibration tasks. Using diagnostic tools, students practise reading fault codes and verifying that cameras and radar units are aligned and functioning correctly.
