The E-DIAG Charger is an advanced diagnostic solution designed to support the servicing and maintenance of electric and hybrid vehicles with maximum safety and efficiency. It integrates intelligent battery charging with comprehensive diagnostic capabilities, allowing technicians to stabilise vehicle voltage during critical diagnostic, calibration, and reprogramming procedures.
3 Main Functionalities
Diagnosis
The E-DIAG unit provides comprehensive diagnostics that allow technicians to monitor the entire electric system, including diagnosing the battery electronic system and the charging system itself using the vehicle’s OBD socket to monitor the Battery Management System (BMS) and individual cell status
Charge
The E-DIAG unit is a versatile charging device for fully electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles. It can recharge batteries using both AC (Type 2 connector) and DC (CCS2 Combo connector) power, allowing for quick charging and efficient use of time in a workshop environment
Special Functions
Special Functions include the station’s self-test capability and specific tests for insulation and continuity, performed using a new HV multimeter developed to meet upcoming PTI (Periodic Technical Inspection) rules.
