COURSE STRUCTURE
ONLINE THEORY
This module covers the principles of F-GAS regulations, the environmental impact of high‑GWP refrigerants, and the transition toward low‑GWP alternatives. Learners study refrigerant classifications, global warming potential values, and the legal responsibilities involved in handling, recovering, and storing refrigerants safely. The content also includes system operation fundamentals, leak detection methods, environmental protection measures, and best‑practice procedures to ensure compliance with current legislation and industry standards.
PRACTICAL ASSESSMENT
The practical assessment checks the learner’s ability to safely recover, evacuate, and charge refrigerants in line with F-GAS rules. Candidates must correctly use recovery and measuring equipment, perform leak checks, and complete the required documentation to show competence with both standard and low‑GWP refrigerants.
