TMD SAFETRAILER is an advanced tool used to locate trailers via satellite. Wherever the load may be, a user-friendly interface displays easy to read information in real time. The display program may be easily installed onto a normal office PC, a smartphone or hand held unit which provides the user with information at all times. The fleet manager may always keep track of the trailer. The GEOFENCING function allows points of interest along the route to be set as desired, such as the entrance and exit, of loading/unloading areas, motorway exits, service areas, overnight stays etc. When the trailer passes these areas, an instant signal is sent. TMD SAFETRAILER establishes the position of the vehicle and the recorded route from one depot to the next in real time. Optional messages may be sent via SMS to a mobile phone. This allows the fleet manager or their assistant to be notified at any time, of delays or problems regarding the delivery of goods, even if they are not located at the control station (PC or smartphone/hand held unit).
