During last Autopromotec exhibition took place the traditional event “GIPA excellence trophies”, having reached the 8th edition in 2005. GIPA stands for Groupement Inter-Professionnel Automobile: it’s an association founded in France in 1986, actually present in 11 countries, with the aim of monitoring the automotive aftermarket. Every year Gipa interviews more than 1700 professional repairers and also over 3000 end-users throughout Europe: after this survey, GIPA awarded TEXA with the 1° Electronic Equipment award. This is the second time Texa was awarded this prestigious prize: during the 5th Excellence Trophy, in 2001, Axone2000 was appointed as the best tool for its innovation. When receiving this prize, Texa’s CEO Mr. Bruno Vianello stated that this tribute from the market came also “thanks to the daily action of all the people that in Texa look after the development of new reliable solutions for the automotive independent market”.
