When self-diagnostic is unable to provide technicans with useful information for system repairs, Texa equipments offer more detailed information by a hardware module introduced into the back of Axone 2000. These modules provide a series of manual and automatic possibilities that are useful for a quick and accurate identification of the problems that can be encountered on vehicles of all makes. The engine diagnostic software provides a guided use of the tests to be performed, with automatic tests for the immediate identification of problems, either with or without the operator. The additional modules are divided into:

Oscilloscope (high and low voltage)
The oscilloscope is a device that permits the visualisation of an electric signal. The graph generated demostrates how signals change over time: the vertical axis refers to the voltage and the horizontal axis refers to time. It is therefore possible to determine the frequency of an electric signal and, consequentially,  to check whether or not it functions properly, such as the variation in voltage at the engine revs sensor over time.

Multimeter (analogue-digital-graphic)
The engine diagnostic tool tests also provide injection device tests, primary and high voltage analysis, battery start and recharge efficiency test.

TNet
This is a solution that makes it possible to access the architecture of networks installed aboard modern vehicles. When combined with Axone 2000, TNet provides a detailed analysis of the electric and electronic status of the units and the information that transits on the network; it is therefore possible to easily perform measurements that would otherwise require long timeframes and are difficult to interpret.

Pressure check (digital-graphic)
This enables pressure checks in a range of between -1 and +9: with oil, turbo and petrol pressure check of any motor vehicle. The program includes an archive from which it is possible to extract the comparison technical values calculated by the manufacturer of the system being tested by specifying the brand, model and type of system.

Battery probe
The program can perform checks on the battery and the car’s start up and recharging system with guided automatic tests.
The software programme allows the performance of tests by generating a final response that can also be printed. Battery probe currently permits tests on 12Volt systems but it is already electronically compatible with future 42Volt systems.
